From the editors

We are very happy and proud to announce the publication of the first two articles in our new e-journal Constructions!

And since this is already the end of our first year (half-year in fact), here’s some statistics: So far, six articles have been submitted to Constructions. Of these, only two articles have been accepted after revisions, three articles have been rejected, and one article is currently being revised and has been invited for resubmission. This gives us an acceptance rate of one third of all submitted articles so far. We are also very glad and proud to be able to announce that our average processing time from submission to final decision is about 28 days only. But this has only been possible because of the great help and efficiency of our external reviewers (see also Acknowledgements).

Last but by no means least our thanks also go to our local editorial team, who have invested time and effort far beyond the call of duty (in alphabetical order): Susan Dostert, Christine Günther, Cornelius Puschmann, and Theresa Wilfert.
